Outlook Express Setup

 

(Please note: These instructions are for email accounts that end in .net)

1) Click on Outlook Express

2) Click on Tools. Scroll down and click Accounts

3) Click on the Mail tab, then on Add, then on Mail. A screen will come up and you need to follow the steps. It will ask you to enter information such as:
    a) User Name
    b) Email Address (example: youremail@parishonline.net)*
    c) Both Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server should read: mail.parishonline.net
    d) Account Name (youremail@parishonline.net) and password

4) Next, go into Properties (right hand side of the box). In the first tab labeled General there is a box labeled Mail Account and that should read: mail.parishonline.net (on the same page is a box for your email address and that should have the full email address (example: youremail@parishonline.net)

5) Click on OK.

6) Click on the tab labeled Servers (next to the General tab). Both Incoming and Outgoing should be mail.parishonline.net

7) Exit Outlook Express and then re-open to get mail.

1) Click on Outlook Express

If after following these steps you are still experiencing a problem with your email account, try using the log in screen on Parish's homepage (www.parishonline.net).
